About Wilkerson Pass
Sitting at an elevation of 9,507 feet, Wilkerson Pass is part of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains and acts as a scenic connector between Park County and the surrounding region. The pass features a spacious parking area with easy pull-offs, perfect for capturing panoramic views of Pike National Forest, South Park, and, on clear days, the distant Collegiate Peaks.
From wildflowers in summer to vibrant golden aspens in the fall, the views change beautifully with each season. It’s also a prime spot to spot wildlife such as deer, elk, and even soaring hawks and eagles.
